Oregon Daily Emerald
University of Oregon daily student newspaper
By: Mason West

The first issue the reviewer addresses is my authority as an author on the subject matter. He quickly states that based on my real life experiences that, "If the man is telling the truth, then he's got the authority." Yes, all the stories are true.

The book is a learning and motivational tool as Mr. West says, "Sometimes it just helps to have someone else say what you already know to give you a kick in the butt." Regarding the written exercises West adds, "...there are written exercises after each chapter to make the reader put a personal grounding on the teachings."

Regarding the book overall, "The information is easily accessible and stays in your head (it has something to do with the rhyming phrases)." Mr. West finishes by writing, "The bottom line is that this book has some good things to say and will help many guys who would choose to read it."

Penn State University student newspaper
By: Emily Morris

This review was a very nice surprise. I knew the book would be reviewed by a few women, I was just hoping they would have an open mind, since the book is intended for men. Emily Morris opens her review by stating, "I have to say that despite the embarrassing looks I got, I liked the book."

She refers to the author as a "comedian," and in response to the male oriented humor states, "I didn't want to laugh, but couldn't help myself."

About the content matter of the book Ms. Morris explains, "Brock's book is intelligent enough not to take the male mind for granted," also explaining "The tips in the guide range from creative to painfully obvious." Regarding the personal stories I share in the book Emily writes, "And every tidbit is accompanied with an amusing story guaranteed to make you laugh (and some others blush)."

Summing up her review Ms. Morris suggests, "Ladies, I think this could be a wonderful anonymous gift."

Obviously, there is some quality content in the book that women want their man to know! Ms. Morris, thank you for having an open mind.
